Welcome to Hawn Kong! I recently landed here myself, and this is an open, honest, and wonder-filled account of my daily experiences as I learn, live, and love Asia.

In Autumn 2015, I received a Golden Ticket to relocate to Hong Kong for work.  I’m a native Californian whose veins pump a love of travel, laughter, and adventure through every inch of my body on a daily basis.

Beginning as a travel blog so my family can keep up, this will inevitably turn into a running commentary of my observations and musings.  I travel to Japan, China, Macau, and Australia on a regular basis, so the inspiration for my self-indulgent writing should flow freely. As another warning, I find myself particularly amusing and perhaps even the slightest bit hilarious; apologies in advance for the affront on your nerves.

To quote the late David Bowie, “I don’t know where I’m going from here, but I promise it won’t be boring.”
